High K Foods

In the context of this website and the associated cookbook, Healthy Living with Warfarin, ‘High K foods’ refers to any foods which are generally available in a local supermarket in which the Vitamin K of a standard serve is above 10% of the RDA for adults. The decision to include foods in this category is to make sure that an adequate amount of Vitamin K is eaten in any one day. By taking a Low K recipe and adding an appropriate amount of high K food, the RDA for Vitamin K can be achieved each day.
